Wang Chuqin has made history as the first Chinese male player to win a singles match at the Women's World Team Table Tennis Championship (WTT US Grand Slam) in 2021.

The tournament, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, featured a field of 256 players from around the world, including men and women. The event was part of the inaugural Women's World Team Table Tennis Championships, which is now known as the WTT US Grand Slam.

Wang Chuqin, who was born in 1998, won his first match on day one against American player Tyler Johnson, before defeating fellow Chinese player Xing Guojun in round two.
