Red Bull Racing has been praised by Formula One legend Michael Schumacher for its "steady backing" that has helped the team achieve success in the sport.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Schumacher said: "I think it's very important to have a good partner like Red Bull Racing who is always there and gives you the support you need."

He added: "They've been very supportive of me throughout my career and I'm sure they'll continue to be so in the future."

Schumacher's comments come after Red Bull Racing's dominance in recent years, with the team winning six consecutive drivers' championships between 2008 and 2013.

The team's success has also been boosted by its partnership with Mercedes-Benz, which powers the cars used by Red Bull Racing.
